We are so very close to that special time of year and most importantly, the chance to stop, breathe and take stock. It has been another busy year for many of us, and the time for rest is important. If you do not celebrate Christmas, or have reasons not to feel happy at this time of year, I am sending you big love anyway.
At Recycled HQ there is much excitement in the air as Maxwell has his last day of year 3, and our 18 year old son James, awaits a job interview next week. Lots of changes on the horizon. For me it has been a mixed year, with ill health the last 6 months of the year, but lots of excitement with working on my PhD, and growing Recycled Interiors. Suffice to say I am looking forward to some peaceful times with family, mostly offline. I am also hoping to complete my Design qualifications over December and January so it is nice to be thinking about being creative while I sit by the sea.
The store will of course remain open across the holidays, but from 22nd December is the last day for posting items until we are back from our beach shack on the 8th January. Any orders between these dates will be posted on the 8th January 2018.
The blog will also take a little break, returning in 2018 with lots of new content for your real sustainable home, and plenty more happening on the Sustainable Home Hub. If you want to position your business on the hub with a year’s listing, a blog feature and exposure to our 130,000 social media followers – please contact me here – because I have a special holiday price of $99 for all of that, just for our community (valued at over $950). It has to be arranged directly with me and will end on 8th Jan.
As for you lovely people, our community, I will be popping in and out of social media, but will be trying to reconnect with the world offline, so there will be less of me online. I hope you also get time and space for this. It is so important. I want to take the time to say thank you for being here. Without you there is no Recycled Interiors. If you would love to share your home, business, or projects on the blog in 2018 please let me know. If you would love to work with me on your home decorating needs, also drop me a line.
And finally, thank you so much again for being here this year, wishing you a wonderful Christmas and New Year and looking forward to sharing 2018 with you all
