Baby Peppers is a novelty artisan online store that specialises in products created with traditional vintage crafts. Our niche is in creating bohemian block printed textile collections, but we do stock other products that have been made from traditional crafts.

The store was born out of a personal need – the need to satisfy nostalgia – a longing to revive centuries old artforms and the need to amplify slow fashion but overtime out branding has become synonymous with the notion of motherhood and ensuring that parents have access to a wholesome and affordable shopping full of ethically crafted goods that will last a lifetime.

We don’t just sell products; we sell a unique, personalised experience for both the consumers and artisans. We are premised on making a global social change and giving back is the lifeline of the brand.

The shopping experience we provide is purpose-drive and informs and educates consumers on how their purchase is actually an investment in a whole community.

I first came across Baby Peppers’ products on Instagram and immediately fell in love with their block print design. Upon further investigation, I learned about the brand’s unique and impactful story transforming the lives of women artisans in India. As the owner of a new ethical lifestyle company myself, I’ve made a commitment to support businesses that leave a lasting and positive impact on the world – Baby Peppers falls perfectly into this category.

It was a breeze working with Gaayathri to pick out the right products for me. She was incredibly responsive and helpful. I ultimatley purchased a Kalamkari quilt and matching elephant plushy for my new-born niece. I felt wonderful giving my niece a product that was as great for her as it was for the environment. Her parents absolutely love these items, too. My niece currently uses the plushy as a pillow, but I can see her picking it up as a toy in no time.

I also ordered a set of three sivankan storage baskets. They have come in handy in multiple ways. I used the largest size as a gifting container, the medium size as a vegetable storage container (it keeps my soft veggies fresh, but protects them from being bumped or bruised), and the smallest basket as a summer clutch when going out.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my orders from Baby Peppers and would highly recommend this company to new parents, those with small children in your family/friend network, and anyone who cares about making a positive impact in the world.
